How to tune in B

:Smug: i know im a dingus and dont know how to tune to B...I know a variety of funky tunings but this one has slipped past me..Can any of you monkeys give me a step by step to tune to B?

B is five halfsteps down from normal. Since its so low, you;ll probobly want to put on some heavier strings so that the tuning will hold. 10-52s should work decently. Then its all a matter of... well... tuning to B. Get a good tuner

two and a half steps lower than normal eh? hmmmm...gotcha...My hybrid Slinkies own...trust me, those things can handle it...once one gets to B on the lowest string, how does one go about getting the rest of the strings to correspond? anyone know what notes the others should be in?

10-52s should work decently.

it would be easier if she just bought strings for a 7stringer amd tossed out the thinnest string. especially since 7's are tuned BEADGBE.

I used to use 13's in B....Hell, I know people who play 13's in standard...As it stands I'm using 11's in D and 9's in Eb...
