How to use Slate with real-time audio tracks??

I know this is probably a dumb question BUT....
I can use SSD plantnium with real time drums right?? I know their is people using it on their tracks..I just gotta figure it out

I did a search and read that i would need to hook up triggers?? Does that mean i use a drum brain via midi into the vst?? or just straight in and somehow route the trigger signal through SSD??

I was thinking the program was a plug-in.. After reading some info i can only use on midi trax
So possibly using -audio- vst -KTdrumtrigger and route into steven slate??

Any suggestions?? cool

yea i understand that but i thought i heard of some people that have used SSD for audio (kicks,snares,toms,etc.).. I know SSD dont sound replace "now" i had a miss understanding of it. I thought it was more of a plugin.. shows what i know lol
