How to utilize all tracks on my Interface

Hey guys. First post been looking at the forums for a while and picking up tips.
So yeah, I have an M-audio Fast Track ultra and it has 4 inputs with preamps, I use these for recordings drums. It also has 2 more inputs on the back, I would like to use these for recording scratch guitars/vocals or bass but I am not sure how I would utilize them as they do not have preamps.
Any ideas?

Something portable would be prefered, our band is just trying to record a quick demo using it so were recording anywhere that is possible!

If your looking at something simply to get use out of the extra ins for something your not too concerned about like triggers or something, art make some pretty cheap preamps that will do the job.

Yeah, though he might already have a POD or fx pedal that he could use for guide guitars which would mean he wouldn't have to buy a preamp he might not need.

The guitarist has a Pocket Pod and the bass player has a sansamp bass driver, would these both work?
