How would you improve this mix? (metal/core/ish)

Any advice to improve this mix?

gtrs are pod farm (fender strat lol)
drums are slate
everything -> firepod

i wrote this track for my friend, he did the vocals. performances cant be changed, just looking for advice to make my mixes as good as the ones i hear on this forum

It sounds good, the beginning threw me off, I was surprised! I'd just turn the vocals down a bit.

Sounds good. I like the intro. Vocals could be a bit more compressed and the growls doubled. This would sound extremely massive if you had recorded the guitars with EMGs or something other than single-coils. Nice work, though.

Thanks everyone, i took your advice. I lowered the vocals, changed the intro made it kinda glitchy, i think it sounds alot cooler now. I did some more minor adjustments as well, and cleaned up the noise between parts, and manually cut string noise between chugs on breakdowns

Think the overall mix sounds great! The intro is nice. A little more aggressive vocals would have done it better for me. Maybe dubbed. Liking the clean-voculs a lot. Great work!
