Hey, so I'd appreciate some feedback on this mix for a song I've been working on.

This is part of an EP that I will be releasing in 2-3 weeks time. The EP is being stem mastered by a very talented engineer (Acle, the guitarist from TesseracT - he runs a studio in Brighton), so I won't have to worry about mastering it myself, however I want to get the mix sounding as good as possible before we send the stems off in a couple of weeks time.

Here's a link to the mix as it stands at the moment, as well as a folder with the dry bass and kick tracks (for the first minute):

At the moment getting the low end tidy seems to be our biggest issue - we've been having trouble getting the kick and bass to sit comfortably in a way such that the kick has punch and clarity but the bass is also felt in a way that really emphasises the 'feel of the notes' being played. We've currently been using all 3 bass tracks but we are considering scrapping the amp signal and amp line out as they seem to have too much noise, and just sculpting a better tone with the DI signal instead. I don't know much about phasing issues but from what I've read there could be come here - would be great if anyone could give a few words of advice.

Our other priorities are getting the snare sounding a bit 'crackier' and tighter, and balancing the rhythm guitar volumes/eq a bit better (plus rolling the compression off a bit). Anything else you think needs work?

Advice appreciated, thanks a lot!
