How's your team doin'?

I am not particularly a fan of GB, but Brett Favre put the Lombardi trophy back in Green Bay. He has been up and down, but I would be very careful about talking bad about him. Despite his aweful game, anytime number 4 is on the field, The Pack has a chance against ANY team in the NFL. He will come back next year and have a better season.

I agree. And really, that's the way he's always been. Either he plays an awesome game or he comes out like he's totally out of it. Never in between. But no one can deny what a great QB he is. I think his record of 200+ consecutive starts is just amazing.

About next week's games, AFC ones are going to be tough. I think the Patriots will win and well hopefully the Steelers too  It's not going to be easy tho. I'm thinking at the Bus being the key to win. The Eagles will most likely crush the Vikings - I sure hope so, Randy Moss is a POS :err: and the Falcons should easily beat the Rams. Thinking a little bit ahead, IMO whatever team from the AFC that makes it to Super Bowl is going to win it.

I see the Patriots dropping from contention next weekend...
The Steelers roll on to the AFC championship....
I like the Vikings to beat the Eagles...
I see ATL taking the Rams....
If The Vikings beat the Eagle, the next game is in Atlanta!
That's a bold statement, saying that whaever teram in the ACF that
makes it in will win... Haven't you been watching the games this season?
There is no sure thing... Ask the Chargers.
Or the Seahawks...

I agree with everything but I think the Eagles will beat the Vikings even without the
services of Owens. Oh Sixxswine you might want to change your opponents message
it still says Atl faces Green Bay!

I've intentionally avoided this thread.....after the second straight playoff slaughtering in row by Peyton Manning and friends......i'm still grieveing. I mean, i saw it coming, but i didn't wanna SEE it. Ugh.

How to fix the Donkies from being Indy's "bitch."
A change in coaching staff, a real QB, Plummer is like a Kerry Collins, he'll never be a quality QB. A couple of free agent WR's, a better RB, that can hold onto the ball... Lynch & Bailey didn't live up to the hype did they?

Jets-Steelers...the Jets are a LONG shot to win, but it's possible. Either way - I like both teams. If The Steelers win I will be pulling for them to go all the way as I've been a fan since the "Iron Curtain" days...if the Jets win, I have to pull for them to go all the way, regardless of how difficult it would be for them. I love underdogs.

I think we should change our coordinators, definitely. I especially dislike our defensive one. As for Mike Shanahan, i'd like to see him stick around. I still think he's a quality coach. Now, Baily.....i was the first one to cry foul when we traded Portis for him, while people were still going "oh, this'll work out.". I NEVER thought it would, and i hate being right. We do need better WR's. So, for the most part, i agree with you.

If I were in the Denver front office I'd make a run for Kurt Warner....
But what do I know?

Hey sixxswine did you see that comment about that asshole Randy Moss said on
tv last night after he got that from what I see a very low fine. He said he was going
to show his d***k the next time. I hope the Eagles defenders gang tackle that
motherfucker and break his goddamn neck!!!

Bettis will start. He needs to start fast, but Wisenhunt needs to watch to see if the defense brings safeties up to help against the run. Now that Plex is back in action, there will be no double coverage on Ward throughout the whole game, so he will be able to get open. Abraham, the Jet;s best DL is also out and that will help the Steelers OL protect Ben on passing plays. The one positive for the Jets is that their rookie LB Vilmer now has many games under his belt. He will be a good one, and in fact already is.
Anything can happen in the NFL, but The Steelers were number one against the rush and number four against the pass defensively in the league. They are simply tough to score on. The Steelers are also very well balanced on offense now as well. Since Plex has been out, Randle El stepped up as well as Mays. The Steelers won't throw much, but they will make it count when they need to.
I'm not big to brag on kickers and punters 95% of the time, but I felt like the veteran Steeler punter Chric Gardocki should have made the Pro-bowl. When the Steelers played Cincy, Chris put them inside their own five yard line twice. If the Steeler/Jets game is dominated by defense and field position, Gardocki is a machine and can help win the battle of field position.
The Steelers are solid in every aspect of the game, less absolutely changing up their defensive schemes to adapt to a particular offense. Bill Belichick is GOD at that, but with all the injuries in their secondary, he might not have the players to execute what his vision is. I would say if The Steelers get by the Jets, they have a 50/50 chance of playinjg The Colts or the play-off nemises Patriots.

Flip a coin with Indy and NE.
Philly takes care of Minny by 10 points.
Falcons beat the Rams by 6.
Steelers beat the Jets by 10.

Moss is a big mouth that won't learn until he hits the wall & there's no other place to turn...
He's always the victim of the media, but there's a simple fix, don't talk to them...
I think in many ways he's got what Tommy Lee had...
Rememer all the trouble that "followed" him? He finally realized, that he had
a part in all the trouble & changed his ways. Yeah, he's still an outlaw, but he's become more cautious & careful. Moss will be brought down to reality soon, when he does it will break him...
As for your remark on Maddox back to Denver? No way. He's best as a back up. I still think Denver need to pick up a free agent, work them into the QB position & allow Plummer to work his way out of the role during pre-season. That's something that he will excel at for a change...
