I've been listening to the HTP album quite a bit lately, and it's not so bad. Devil's Road is definately my favourite track. I was cranking it out while cruising along The Great Ocean Rd yesterday.. Bliss.

Interestingly.. Hughes & Turner apparently recorded some demos in London sometime during 1984 which were never released. That could explain my original comments saying some songs sounded 'old'.

It's not exactly a bad song, but seems to have a real lounge music vibe happening. Good gaytar solo though.

Also check out Heaven's Missing An Angel a bit later. This track was the reason I bought the album. Your buddy Mr Hughes is the sole vocalist on it.
