when i originally made this thread, i had just bought "abducted" and "the final chapter" for the equivalent of 50 cents each (as it says up above) and i was kind of stunned that they were sometimes pretty good

but it's just that: there are momentary flashes of good shit but 90% of the time they're just fucking around with bad riffs and bullshit lyrics

i'm too old to bother with bands that may or may not be good depending on which part of which song you happen to be listening to

Most of you would be right in saying they suck if not for their self titled album, which is really great. Listen to the following and judge for yourself:

There is definitely much to love with their self-titled. X-files melodeth.

I found UM via the Hypocrisy website. They were my #1 band for a spell.

All I'm sayin' is that the catchy/dancy/growly/disco chorus to this song is worth sitting through 5 mediocre albums.
