Dude...every time I crank up my amp and SHRED THE RIFFZ, or feel the incredible rush I get from cranking up metal on the speakers, I just rejoice, for it is the greatest genre of music in existence. It's mostly the incredible tightness that gets me; listening to all the subtle details, especially when, for example, there's a wailing guitar solo going on, but the riffs underneath have so many intricacies that are easily missed but SO SO SO fucking cool; I dig *some* rawer stuff, but for me, it's the tightness and maturity overall that does it. I LOVE METAL SO GODDAMN MUCH!!!!!! Many cheers and beers for this thread
