the higher ups here do not subscribe to any management philosophy newer than that of Capt. Bligh's. if an employee cannot be seen, ipso facto, he must be up to the debil's bidness.
and in completely unrelated but because I'm bored news, we all just got this email:
I regret the need to send out the following message, and I hope the offender is not a CSOC employee. In fact, I have a hard time believing that it would be. However, we've had two reports recently of someone smoking in the section 4 ladies restroom. Smoking in any Government building, of course, is prohibited and violators are subject to disciplinary action. The DLA Table of Penalties recommendation for this offense is: 1st offense: repimand to 1-day suspension; 2nd offense: 1 to 5 day suspension; 3rd offense: 5-day suspension to removal.
I can assure everyone, that if we determine who the offender is (CSOC employee or someone else), appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
Mahlon C. Boyer
Deputy Director
as you can see, we have a "Table of Penalties". Remarkably, it does not include flogging at the grate.
