yeah i am not accusing flynt of being noble in any shape or form but he did refrain from furthur ruining his reputation. i think the whole thing he said about not publishing them as well was that he believes lynch is a product of the americn government trying to gain support for the war by giving the public a human face/hero to latch onto and feel connected to and he didn't want to buy into that because of his strong anti-war stance.
