I bought my first pedal!!! :)

The POD 2.0 and the POD XT aren't bad. I have a POD 2.0 set up right in front of my counter so it's what I wank on when my department is dead.

POD XT Live? I think it sucks cock. I played with it and I fucking hated it. I have a Digitech RP7, which they discontinued years ago. I've been thinking about either getting a Boss GT-8 (if you don't like Boss, don't flame, the GT-8's tone is fucking awesome) or a GNX4 for it's recording capabilities. Though, I think I need to focus more on the tones for live use and the GT-8 has great fucking tone.

But to answer your question, yes, the POD is good but there are better things.

I have that marshall pedal and it is shit because it dosen't have enough distortion. I recently bought a Line 6 Uber Metal pedal and that is the shizzle.

I prefer Boss single pedals because of the way they're constructed. The switches don't wear out like traditional pedals because they don't use the same switching system.

Also, I hope you don't use that Uber Metal live because you'll hit knobs and shit. One cool thing about Boss? Recessed knobs, so you don't fuck shit up.

thanx for the answer... any digitech pedal you like most?

The POD v.2 was really bad I hated all the heavy tones, the cleans were very nice though I have sold that peice of shit now and I also hate the Digitech Whammy.
Two of the worst Effects pedals/Processers IMO.

thank you all,i really love the sounds and the distortion is really great if you set it right.
here in Croatia we don't have a lot of choices;just boss and marshall and i like to try out everything before i buy it so it was a good choice.
did you know Steve Vai still uses his boss DC-1(among everything else) :OMG:???like OMG!!!and he still rocks! :headbang:
