Plot armor in the DC universe would not explain the death of Jason Todd, Green Arrow, Superman, Hal Jordan, etc.
Granted THEY'VE all been revived. But there are those that haven't. Nevertheless, Plot Armor didn't save Batman from getting his back broken.
