This might sound ridiculous, but something that always gets me sleepy is...the sound that is made while someone is eating an apple HAHA. Don't ask.

Compared to a story I once read, that is positively not weird. Seriously, there was a woman who couldn't sleep without the sound of a vaccuum cleaner running nearby. She burnt something like 7 vaccuum cleaners out.

It's bizarre what you get used to. As a kid I lived outside a town so it was pitch black and silent at night, and I couldn't sleep for weeks in the city, although that's the reverse now.

Aye, similarly, there are constantly jets flying around this area, and it's only ever visitors that complain and point them out. That said, the seagulls do manage to keep one awake, on occasion.
