I just don't get it. How is requesting "Free Bird" a joke? You might think I'm taking a cheap shot at rednecks but bear in mind that one of the areas near my old home is called "Hixville." So, I value the whole sitting on the porch listening to some Skynnrd scene. Did remove a bit of hair to kill the mullet though.

Anyhow, best of luck with the gigs. If you need some non-musical help at a gig in MA or RI, always feel free to ask.

Well Toby, I wouldn't do that. Your rendition of "Free Bird" would probably be one of the best imaginable. So, my request would be one of legitimate curiosity. But don't worry. Chances are that I'd sit back and try to pay as close attention to your set as possible and applaud politely between songs.

Classic, but not very funny, IMO. Still, if it was coming from Kleo given the build-up it would be funny to me for the very first time.
