i guess it's up to me to make all the Cardinals threads

Unless you were a sox fan there was no excitement in that world series at all. Way to go Cardinals. I can't believe I wasted 7 months following major league baseball to have it end in one of the most boring world series in years.

paul- after like 15 yrs of being in chicago, my sister finally succumbed to cubs fanhood when last year she actually found herself honestly and unpremeditatedly uttering the phrase "Wait til next year"

I think I need to say how much I hate the yankees. Seriously, fuck them. It's not so much their players that make me hate them (although they are really arrogant, but also pretty good... 'cept this year), it's more about their fans. They threw shit on the fields when there was a bad call, started chanting "who's your daddy?" during the game, and even after they lost they chanted "who's your daddy?".

Boston fans are so much classier (give yourself a congratulatory pat on the back, team), as seen evident by watching games played in boston, and then in new york.

the "who's your daddy" thing was a bright shining example of assholery, I think. if I understand it correctly, the Red Sox got beaten by the Yankees, and Pedro Martinez, being humble and showing a sense of humor, was like "Yeah, they were really my daddy tonight"

and of course the dick fans seized on it and chanted it at him.
