ok, i thought this movie was going to suck, honestly. i smiled patronizingly at josh and nick when they raved about how excited they were about it.

but it was good. it was really very funny and had some really cool parts, and it incorporated the elements of both film franchises pretty well.

i think i liked New Nightmare better in terms of latter-day Part-Zillion+ nightmare/friday films, but i would still give this one a not-too-unsteady thumbs up.
