I have a problem

I'm having trouble inserting an image into my signature. I've done everything from using a file from my computer, to emailing a picture to myyself and using the hyperlink. Are pictures still banned from sigs? Or am I just a little bit on the slow side? Maybe, both? Either way, I'd appreciate some help.
