Minnesota is damned cold. Several years back I took a business trip from here in Connecticut to Edmonton, Canada, and on the way back I got stuck in Minnesota for four days with canceled flights because of a blizzard. It's cold and snowy. Tower, Minnesota is like number 6 on the all time coldest records in the USA at -61 degrees Fahrenheit and three of the coldest ten annual cities in the US are in Minnesota (my little weather tidbit of the day.)
