I just got reminded how good SOWN is .....

I haven't listened to SOWN in ages so I put it in the car on the weekend and have been reminded just how goddamned good this record is!!!!

Even the lesser known tracks like Invisible, Sodium Pentathol, and 1000 Points just totally blew me away all over again.

God I love rediscovering that feeling of 11 years ago when SOWN was first unleashed upon us!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOWN is very distinctive album, the sound is quite different from the rest but I really like it, it´s very original and half the songs kick fucking ass.

scott recorded the guitars in 6 layers, that's why it probably sounds so muddy...
can't fault john's vocals though...

Brilliant album. Even now. Hell, it still sounds as fresh as it did the day it came out. The best part of Anthrax has always been the fact that you are going to hear riffs and song structures that sound like NO OTHER BAND. This album, and especially P.O.T., stand out for those reasons. WCFYA is that way to an extent, but it is more of a beautiful mixture of the best parts of all their previous albums.
