i thought i was fucked because I made all these plans for the upcoming months that were centered around me having lots of time, but if I have to work then my plans will all be in the shitcan. It just occured to me though that when I finish the mixdown of my solo CD (March 9) - if I can find a label to give me the money I put into the recording ($5000) then i can live off that until Kayo Dot tours next. I just have to hold on a few weeks until the 9th.

still- my brother-in-law was on unemployment for a LONG time, but that was right after 9/11- he kept getting extensions. i guess that's not done any longer?

maybe you could go in with someone and buy that book from that guy in the suit with all the ? marks on it that has tons of gov't grants and places to get money to "write a gardening book!" or "fund your pet/fetish store!"
