I know what would be the perfect Bloodbath vocalist.

and young people! Damn young people, always on my lawn and running around outside my house. They don't know they're born, i tell you!

yeah some guy just took a shit on someones bed like 3 doors down my college dormitory hall. then the police came and arrested the guilty suspect. but then the cop approached me and was like "good work son" and handed me a freshly rolled blunt of nugget and we smoked it straight to our dome peices. and then out of nowhere mikael akerfeldt came out of nowhere and was like "oh you guys are smoking mad blunts!! *throws down his own stash of weed* (you know hes got one handy just in case) casey greer im drunk

I think Glenn Benton would be a horrendous choice, he doesn't have near the dynamic sounds to pull off anything Akerfeldt Or Peter could in my opinion. I'm really not much of a fan of most American "Florida death metal" music though... I wouldn't consider hardly any of the vocalists in that scene capable of Bloodbath's stuff

Yeah, that’s why I said I was changing my opinion.

No sé si me expliqué, bueh!

i have a question, i know how a lot of outsiders of the united states hate americans, but for people who live in other countries on this website, does your population generally dislike and make fun of americans?

the reason i ask is that i think that if there is a lot of prejudice, then things like metal and metal forums can bring these people together from all across the world and be able to build a friendly community. its just cool to me to be able to talk to people from Sweden/anywhere else about music and metal.

Well, prejudice is for everyone, not only people who dislike Americans.
A few days ago I was watching a movie with my boyfriend (don’t remember de name) and one of the lines went something like this: Tomorrow I have some south-americans guests coming to my party blah blah blah…So the next scene was the party, a lot of people dancing Rumba or Salsa, smoking Cuban cigars, and a lot of guys dressed with Hawaiian t-shirts (you know, the ones with shocking colors and flowers)
So I got really pissed off and asked my boyfriend: Do you know any South American guy who does or wear that shit? And he asked: Only gigolos I think. We burst into laughing and start talking about other shit.
I am from Argentina, I live in Buenos Aires and:
1- We don’t dance Rumba or Salsa. Unless it’s a wedding party and of course that’s not our typical music. Not even in Uruguay, Brazil, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru or Chile.
2- No one in South America smokes Cuban cigars (Cuba is in the CENTER OF AMERICA)
3- And no one in South America wears bright flowered t-shirts (Unless you’re in summer and you have a fucked up taste wearing that shit, you’re a trucker or just a gigolo)

I just think in the States no one worries to teach about other cultures and the big differences between us –south American people- with Mexicans, Colombians or Cuban s because if only ONE PERSON would know about it, then in a fucking movie you wouldn’t see those mistakes.

We (I’m talking about a few Argentinians I know) don’t make fun of Americans, some (including me) are really pissed off with your President and the people around him, not the people who live in it. We can’t understand why Bush has his nose sooooo in the middle of other countries, every land has his own ways to survive, their presidents. Then why a president of another country has the right to rule them just to beneficiate his own plans? Why can he and his government just mind their own business? You already have enough problems with psycho kids murdering people in schools and tons of other shit to worry about, leave the rest of the countries alone.

And yeah, I do think it’s cool to know and meet people from different places too, thanks to this site I’ve known a lot of nice boys & girls and a lot of bands I didn’t know of. Which is awesome.

I’m sorry for the long post and for being off topic. ...Nah, I’m not.

spanish is quite usefull, that's a good thing, you can use it in most of the south and center american countries (not brazil), mexico and spain, with french you are quite limited... in comparison obviously :zombie:

altought we do not speak spanish here in Brazil, i can read/understand all ztuff you've written.. i bet you could do the same to portuguese... the problem is on speaking in real life.. way more difficult to identify the words. :)

I have a few friends from Brazil here and I don't have problems when I talk with them. Is way different when I have to read something, is complicated... but not impossible. :p

Same here.
I was talking with Cavalera last Friday night and I could understand absolutely every shit he said and viceversa, funny thing is when he tries to speak in Spanish, he sounds like a 16 year old boy. lol
