i killed a bird that flew into my car. i am still horrified

I've done that before, too! the bird actually got caught in the gap between the bumper and the car and was stuck there for a couple days while we (my old band) were on tour. I think I even have a picture of it somewhere. We just didn't believe it was possible to actually hit a bird with a car, but learned otherwise. At least it didn't smack our windshield like we heard from other bands.
