When I rehearse at the drummers place we each have a laptop that we feed into a Mackie Big knob (soon to be for sale) which acts as a mixer. We then both have an individual headphone level but it is the overall mix, there's no control over the individual levels.
What we need is to be able to feed the two laptops in to a mixer or headphone distribuiton and be able to control the level of each laptop, so he can have his laptop louder than mine in his headphones and visa versa.
Dollars is a factor, I don't want to spend a lot. I've looked at the behringer headphone amps, some are close but not quite what I'm after. I'm not adverse to using a more conventional PA mixer if it fits the bill.
