I need advice on this Rme FF400 or EMU 1212m, Isa One, Tc BMC2

I am thinking on this:

Sell my RME fireface 400 (a friend of mine offered 800 eu)

and buy

EMU 1212m pcie xpress version 169 eu
ISA one Mic pre and DI 448 eu
TC ELECTRONIC BMC-2 299 eu

i record drums with alesis USB studio kit so I need just one good mic pre for vocal recording ,reamping recording with sm 57, and good guitar DI, and i am not happy with my RME mic preamps and HI z inputs,
if i stay with the RME i have to invest a lot of money in monitor controller plus mic pre plus DI

what is your opinion, it will be an improvement if i go with emu isa and Tc or it will be a step back and i shuld stay with the rme?

Keep the Fireface and buy a Countryman Type 85 DI, and as for whatever it is that you don't like about your mic'ed tones/sounds, I very much doubt the FF400 preamps are to blame

^^ +1. The RME's preamps aren't that damn bad. You'd be a fool to sell the RME for any of those listed. Hell, I'm half hoping that you do it...
