..in frustration about shit happening in my life. Apple Hardware self test isnt detecting anything but it is not booting OSX. Whatever.

I am really stupid.

That is one great thing about CRT monitors... go ahead, punch one. See if it breaks, or your hand does. Either way, you get your anger relieved, and your severe pain fix (isn't that why people punch things?).

I punch my MacBook a lot when my internet connection disconnects 10 times per minute.. which is every fucking day.
Luckily it's still working quite well

Probably a bad hard drive. Buy new drive & re-install OS. Issue resolved (hopefully)

that tool helped me many times

I've punched my laptops a few times before out of frustration... Broke an lcd once, a hdd another. It never helps and only makes the anger level rise, but sometimes it's the only thing within reaching distance!

I gave my old IBM ThinkPad T42 a damn good thrashing a while ago when it decided to take a few minutes just to open up FireFox...

I punched the screen hard in the face with enough force to send the laptop flying off my lap. My hats off to the people that made the LCD screen, it didn't do the slightest bit of damage to it!

I wouldn't have punched a decent spec. system though!!
