My buddy Big Joe had said that. He's from Sicily and has a lot more knowledge about the Old Country and our ancestry. To be honest, I don't even know if we came from Sicily or the North. I was born blonde-haired and blue-eyed due to being part German so it makes it harder to determine. Also, I can't tell by looking at my dad because my fucking idiot grandfather ruined the bloodline by having four kids with a Native American (she's a stupid fucking whore).

O.K. now I'm getting a little pissed off and it's too early for that.

Dude, there are TONS of blue-eyed, blonde-haired people from Sicily due to the old Norman invasions. It could be either way, actually, north or south. Most of the blonde guys from the south don't look like your stereotypical southern Italians, so if your grandfather was in the mafia, no doubt he was probably from Sicily.
 
Oh but don't stop there. There are TONS of gay Italian metal bands, and not just power metal either.

What is your last name? You can usually tell if someone is from the south or north due to their name. Usually a Di Something indicates southern.
