I recommend Agalloch

The intention of this forum is not so vapid as "hey I feel like posting a thread about Agalloch so I'll just write 'listen to Agalloch.'" The intention is much more substantive. I'm closing this thread. From now on, threads recommending specific bands and/or style of music must contain at least some degree of substantive intention, conducive of some sort of meaningful discussion, and not more a quote train of "yeah I like them too." I'm going to make a sticky thread briefly outlining this for now. I might articulate it further at some later date. Feel free to make another thread in which you want to articulate why you feel that this band is so highly recommendable if you want, though honestly the regular forum could just as easily be used for that. This forum is for people seeking recommendations primarily, after all.
