I recorded Oasis in my bedroom...

The vocals sound pretty radio friendly, much more processed compared to the other instruments. The drums sound a little weak, and the guitar tone sounds a little strange as well.

Guitars were through a solidstate marshall, I agree about the drums, I'm still looking for a better kick drum. I recorded it with a D6 and actually wish i had something a bit more versatile to hand because it really didn't do the job.
anyways I have about 2 weeks until this needs to be finished so I'm sure there'll be a lot more revisions :)

2 instances of a compressor
Chain was
Camelphat compressor (freeware) -14db > Rea EQ HP@200 > Camelphat compressor -9db > Cubase De-esser set on 5

The camelphat is a really good compressor for it's price :D
Really simple considering theres one fader that compresses

Bouncing down a new mix..

No verb, chorus or anything? The vocals are very strong, and all you used was a couple of comps? :o
