Also this wasn't recorded to a click because they couldn't play to one so timing wise there are a few tempo drops and stuff which sound horrible, so don't need to mention them.

But take a listen if yur can.

edit : new mix has a different kick and a beefier snare and some automation on le vocals

The vocals sound pretty radio friendly, much more processed compared to the other instruments. The drums sound a little weak, and the guitar tone sounds a little strange as well.

Guitars were through a solidstate marshall, I agree about the drums, I'm still looking for a better kick drum. I recorded it with a D6 and actually wish i had something a bit more versatile to hand because it really didn't do the job.
anyways I have about 2 weeks until this needs to be finished so I'm sure there'll be a lot more revisions

I would also like to know, they sound pretty great except for a certain frequency in there that's over accentuated.

Chain was
Camelphat compressor (freeware) -14db > Rea EQ HP@200 > Camelphat compressor -9db > Cubase De-esser set on 5

The camelphat is a really good compressor for it's price
Really simple considering theres one fader that compresses

Few mentioned the drums. If you could work on getting the snare and kick to come through a little stronger I think you'd be doing fine.

actually yer, I used a tiny bit of a plate verb as a send on the vocals and the backing ones.
But no freaky deeky chorus or anything like that. He was a bloody loud singer though

Loud singers are the best. Wait til you have to record someone that is whispering... biggest pain in the butt.
