i saw a band last night that were worse than Adolf Satan

they were named O.A.R. and honestly, i had fun watching Adolf Satan because they were entertaining and funny. O.A.R. was none of the above and they had a shitty tenor sax that contributed to my totally unfair bias against saxophones.

and, sadly, the Roots disappointed me. they're amazing on album and reputedly have an amazing live show, but last night they brought their B game. i seriously blame Boston College students who were listless and unresponsive during their good songs, and only cheered and jumped around when they did a stupid medley of 80s songs. i'm kind of embarassed to be a BC grad.

I know I've warned others about this O.A.R. group on here before. I've been unfortunately exposed to their music several times before, and I must say I don't really appreciate it much. Their vocalist makes me want to stab railroad spikes into my ears.

And yes, the saxophonist sucks.

Sadly, I go to Ohio State, so I have witnessed OAR's travesty called music many a time and every time it gets worse. Their Dave Matthews meets reggae bullshit makes my ears cry.
