One more time guys sorry, resang w/ sm7, but just want opinions this is now final we are working on two more songs so this is the last time I will post this one...but just need some ideas on making the drums punchier (what does the mix still need) Thanks

but seriously:
- the mix in the chorus is a bit problematic, it's pretty clouded except for the hihat, snare and vocals
- the vocals need a lot more balls in the chorus, or should I say more drastic emotion change from the verse?
- the rhythm guitars are pretty unclear in general
- eventho I like the bass loud in the mix, it could come down a dB or two. also there are some random louder pops from the bass that bothers me
- the drums are otherwise ok in my opinion, except the hihat is pretty loud in the mix and the presence on kick could be just a touch louder
- the synthstrings are eating quite a lot of the spectral area and make everything sound pretty muffled, try to highpass just a bit higher?

thanks for the feedback ahjteam! Great pointers! The chorus is hard for me to switch emotion but maybe I can attempt to harmonize to make it change emotion better...but I will work on all ur pointers thanks!

hi, i'm new here and i know this is rather late, but i found the files for I Stand Alone on this forum a while back minus the drums, and i mixed it. this is my first few times mixing and hope you guys can give some feedback! btw, jauernis, it's a very nice song, and i had fun mixing it!
