Quite possibly. I like to imagine he had the bowl there because he was feeling nauseous, filled the bowl, and was too far gone to even care that his feet were sitting in his own half-digested stomach contents.

i'm trying to get home for christmas. but i can't take my bunny on the train so if i dont find someone to watch him/find a ride in a car... i am stuck in brooklyn(aka the sunspot)

he is allowed on the train, but he always gets sick when he takes the train because he gets so stressed out.
