...because I just sent off the downpayment on Stinnett #2!

Here's the current spec sheet:

-SS body, mahogany/quilted maple top, blue matteo finish + natural binding
-flat-top w/inner and outer horn bevels like a Daemoness Cimmerian, forearm contour
-Maple set-neck with ebony fingerboard + white binding
-Offset block inlays (a la ESP Horizon without the 12th fret logo)
-Stainless Steel 6000 frets
-C2 headstock w/quilt cap
-EMG 81/81TW set, single volume w/push pull and a 3-way toggle
-Hannes bridge, black hardware

Should be sick as fuck - can't wait to start choosing a top piece!

Dude, my Stinnett #003 (greenie) absolutely ruins other instruments for me. Nothing feels or sounds as good, and it actually makes me play cleaner and faster for whatever reason. I've been dying for a guitar with the Hannes bridge, and I'm going for a more streamlined feel with the flat top and forearm contours and stuff. Debated heavily on going with a maple FB or not... but I think this one will look sick and be a great contrast to the other.

this thread makes me want to fart.... alot....

seriously, great fucking guitar. My friend has one and i have never felt so connected with a guitar in my life. 6 string or 7?

6 string - who's your friend, and which # does he have bychance? There are way more Stinnetts than what he's got on the site - I think he's finishing up #15 right now actually.

I'm actually working on numbers 10 thru 15 right now, with a couple more stacked up behind them.

I started a new day job a few months ago and all my free time was getting eaten up helping out my former employers until they brought in new people. :erk:

But I'm past that and in the shop more than ever now, so I'm getting caught up fast. A couple of guys around here are waiting on me right now. I'm getting there! :)

By the way, I really appreciate all of the support I've received from this forum, and the willingness of you guys to help a small timer like me get on his feet!

I demand more pics of Stinnett's.

This.

And cheers for that correction, Will - didn't realize it was 10-15. I find it really cool that I will own 1/8th of the guitars you've made. Am I the first repeat customer?

Any other Stinnett customers want to post specs of what they got? I can't wait to see some finished pictures of the new body styles, especially since I ordered one.

I am somewhere in that 10-15. I can't wait to get mine. It's a pretty plain guitar, but I wanted something really woody, not too flashy, with a lot of brootal invloved. PIX IS COMING!

Cool, 6000 SS frets.
Only thought you could get that stuff in 6105 and 6100 size fretwire.
Is the 6000 SS the same size as regular 6000?

From what I found quickly searching just now, the normal 6100 is .110 x .055, and the normal 6000 is .118 x .58. The largest SS fret is .110 x .57, so it's like a taller 6100.

Didn't realize that, though - going to now have to weigh the option of true 6000's vs the playability of SS frets!
