Looks like the Annihilator guy is doin some D blues lick on the G string then that big stretch is a D minor triad kinda like the beginning to the 2nd Mr. Crowley solo just played on one string instead.

Well caught some nice little overhead/hat position insights on that one, even though I'd seen the vid before. Pretty awesome sounds there. Wasn't too much of a fan of the bass sound though. It was a bit too flabby and inarticulate for me. I tend to go more for the scooped sound.

This CD is great, love the bonus dvd on there...shows some top quality players..
I wish I'd ever get as good as some of the drummers on there....
Also I think that Dave Chavarri is one of the underrated drummers nowadays in metal..It's to bad...cause this guy has some great licks and is tight..just check out that song In The Fire he did..it's great..
