...with my own naturalistic picture thread! I went hiking on Mt. Monadnock yesterday, in extremely frostbitten temperatures. Still temperature at the base was about 23 degrees (F), but with wind chill it must have been about 10. And then, at the summit, the wind must have been AT LEAST 40 mph, resulting in sub zero temperatures. At one point I yelled to my friend on the summit and my teeth felt frozen. \m/

Some rocks:

Lakes!

The ice made walking treacherous at times.

Slope of the mountain:

A picture of me:

A pair of pictures from that grim summit:

My friend and I, gaining respite from the frostbitten wind:

As we were coming down, we viewed many great slopes:

At one point, we went off trail and almost slipped to our deaths:

The view from that man's seat:

This stream was odd. On one side of this picture, the stream is frozen at least 4 inches thick. On the other side, it's running.

Thats cool, I like how you can see the horizon and somewhat of the atmosphere glowing over it.

Sun Rays, also cool.

Good shots man, what kinda camera?

It's actually a piece of shit, or so I think. Fujifilm Finepix or something.

I need to acompany you on one of your frostbitten peregrinations amidst the alps of execratory blasphemy.

cept i'mma skip the butt sekz n' cuddlin' behind rawkz part!! LOLF!!1!!!

Excellent thread! Your pictures are really good! I especially like the first one of the ice on the path, the summit photo, and the last one is definitely the best. I like the reflections of the clouds on the ice. Great landscapes!

I think everyone should post these sorts of threads! I've got some big plans for this summer, and that means lots of photo threads from me :)

Man, You and I should totally do something together involving such things. That would be godly.

Maybe go for a hike together somewhere, you should come up to chilliwack here, and then we can go off hiking on one of the hundred different trails up here and just take some fuckin' pictures.

(Yay Tequilla!)

I have big plans as well! Basically: I'm hiking the Long Trail in Vermont, 270 miles. :) Thanks for your compliments.
