Well Soulseek finally works on my Vista, and I have managed to make a list of every single song that I listen to.. I don't care for entire albums.. so I figure this gives a very good picture of my musical tastes.. I would much appreciate it if you could read the list over and then comment on what other songs you think I might like.. how can you only like certain songs???? i cannot fathom liking a band for only certain songs....thats why i loathe mainstream music because the "radio songs" are the only good ones and then its just filler garbage forciing you to only like single songs, but here in the wonderful world of underground metal whole albums are mos def where its at.if you like a band you should listin to entire elbums and see how they change and progressa and plus every song is usually worth listning to. in the end you will recieve more satisfaction from this method....trust me

If you are happy with what you have so far, then by all means stick with it.(well its upto you, whether to explore more or not )
The number of obscure/unknown/underground bands that exist(and many of them are quite good tbh) is just astonishing. Many of them are unheard-of even within the metal community.

OK, first some clarifications. When I list the Arcturus songs, they come from the middle albums, which means I have listened to the other songs from the same albums and don't like them - so I wrote * newer and older material, I have the middle. Also, Seditious, when I said "anything new", I meant that if there are newer releases then I am interested in recommendations from those materials, sorry I should have been more clear. I know I can look on metallum archives, but here you get to see my tastes so I'm hoping the recommendations can be that much more on target. The thing is sometimes I don't know if there is newer material, maybe there isn't yet or the band is even dead, so I put an interrogation mark so it wouldn't confuse anyone.

HEHEHEHEHEHE, he loathes mainstream music, but says that the ones on the radio are "good ones"!

But hey don't think I'm happy about it, I'd love an album without any weak songs on it. It seems there's always at least one, as sure as there are white jellybeans (I like the black ones, go figure).
