Immortal Pure Holocaust
Mayhem - Live in Leipzig - the only essential live BM album.

Ah, I tend to prefer everything from the last three Immortal dics rather than the previous, tinny-sounding recordings. I have their whole discography, but only rarely play the first few. I wouldn't really call the later discs "blackened death", they just got better production.

Battles in the North and Blizzard Beasts have shit production, but their first two albums have much less annoying productions.

I don't hear any death metal influence on SOND. It's more of a heavy metal sound. A little too mid-paced to call black 'n roll.
