that was when we were rehearsing all the time with this band: http://www.myspace.com/resuscitationptbo and playing gigs regularly. despite my drums current condition, when im in a serious gigging band new skins are a must. I always got complements on how good my drums sounded.
as for sticks, I go through 1 pair of vic firth 5b`s a month! I barely ever hit the rims anymore and hit cymbals on top so sticks last forever! but all it takes is one fag who thinks he can play drums to try a massive tom fill and fuck yer shit. especially when they beat the fuck out of a out of tune drum!
