I won't travel to any country that does not have Glühwein!

Red wine
Lemon juice
Cloves
Cinnamon
Sugar

But be careful, drinking too much could reduce creativity:heh:

I love them both (Glühwein and Grog), although the Germans/Austrians do it better. I always make my own here, so Lasse, any time you're up for it, come on out for some glühwein, bier, und trunkenheit! As it happens, this town also is a refuge for a lot of German and Austrian expatriates (we even have a great deli owned by a woman from Köln).

+1 for the Köln (Cologne) reference.

Mmmm...I think I need to make me some of this for the holidays. Would some of you Scandinavian/German dudes point me in the direction of a good recipe??
