Here's a new one; think the guitars sound a bit better on this track. Same amp, same settings but a better micplacement. The Blackstar HT1 seems a bit sensative when it comes to placement.

I know the tone you're aiming for, but I think it's a bit too dull or lacking in character, but it's not too bad. Do you use a HM-2 with the Blackstar? I think the HM-2 is ESSENTIAL when trying to get that old swedish DM tone. I personally think the vocals are good. The kick is maybe a bit quiet in the mix (or not, I've had clogged ears for 3 weeks now so I can't hear above 8000 Hz that well...). Not sure if that was of any help, but yeah. Lol.

Drums are too weak, esp. the kick. Vocals aren't bad, reminds me of Karl Willets (of Bolt Thrower) in the guttural parts. Guitars and bass are alright, guitars could use some presence though.

Very cool song, agree the drums are a bit weak but I am really digging the song itself dude, nice!
