Hello guys,

That's my first - but not that good, as it's a stupid question - post here.

Has anyone tried an Ibanez Art320?
I'm about to get one but I don't know how good it's made and how good the pickups sound for punk rock.

What do you think about it?

If it's anything like the art300 then it's a good buy.

Looking at the website now it is the same as my 300, so much better than an epiphone. The neck feels a lot like a les paul but with a little bit of the Ibanez feel, the pickups are good considering the price of the guitar but they are a tad too fizzy, the hardware is very good. I say if a les paul style is what you are after then this is a great guitar at it's price point.

One thing i don't like about mine is it is a very light guitar and feels like a toy somehow. But it still sounds and plays great for the money

Actually It's the same with Art300 but in different finish, If I'm correct.

What do you exactly mean "they are a tad too fizzy" ?
Could you please upload some audio samples?

Thank you!

Sorry mate the only site I've got to upload files is my bandcamp and reverbnation, and I'd rather keep those strictly band related.

As far as fizzy goes, It sounds like too much in the presence region. I actually prefer Epiphone Les Paul Standard pickups to the art300 pickups but the guitar is soo much better in every other aspect.

Also when I say too fizzy, that is compared to my two American Music Men, my Scott Ian signature with Seymoure Duncan JB and my Japanese Ibanez s with dimarzio evolutions. For it's price it is great

We had some Art's in at the shop, can't remember if they were 300 or 320 though. Didn't like the neck. If you go Ibanez i'd say go RG.
