9 String scale length

I've been thinking about getting a 9 string guitar with a low C (half step down). The Ibanez RG9 is only 28 inch scale length. Do you guys think that is long enough or should I go with an Agile 30"? The Ibanez plays good though. I tried it at Guitar Center briefly but I'm worried about the tuning stability and intonation as well as the definition.

If you are in states than 30" Agile could be good way to go, but you probably should put aftermarket pickups, unless you take 909 and you are happy with them.
