Manowar are pretty crappy & cheesy, but some of their songs are fun "turn-off-your-brain-and-rock" music.
Dream Theater bores me to tears (except for "Pull Me Under"), but they're technically great musicians.
Hammerfall just plain SUCKS. If you've heard "Battalions" by Metal Church, you've heard every Hammerfall song ever...except Joacim Cans has the most annoying voice in metal, and their solos aren't half as good. Oh, and their ballads...DEAR HOLY GOD. Worse than IE ballads.
