If Dan hadn't used any death vocals on C2, would he...?

... have used more clean vocals? And how do you think would that have affected the direction of the album? I personally think, if things had gone the way they'd been planned, Dan would have recorded a lot more clean records with more ballad-y parts on it. However I am not sure if the album would sound so amazing then? I do love the little clean vocal lines on the CD very much though. Any comments?

I think the amount of clean vox is just right, but I miss the "Sisters of Mercy" voice. Some gothsinging would have been great. There is a part ending with "glorious new virgin birt" (that part begins right after the first, very rocky, solo that isn't mentioned in the booklet) that part would have been great for the gothsinging.

Yeah, I was kinda let down by the fact that there were only 3 or 4 clean vocal parts, but the album kicks so much severe ass that I'm willing to overlook it. If I wanna hear Dan's clean vocals, I have all his Nightingale and Unicorn CD's, I guess!
