I think about this from time to time, so I thoght it might be interesting to see who people would chose.

John Bonham=Drums see his solo during Moby dick on How the west was won
Cliff Burton=Bass see Cliff'em all and listen to 1st 3 Metallica records
Jerry Cantrell= Guitar very underrated and orignail style plus great vocalist
King Buzzo= Guitar beyond original has wriitten mind blowing riffs
Maynard James Keenan= Vocals Tool need i say more?

This always changes in my mind but think this would a great band. What do you think? :puke:

Drums - Gene Hoglan (Dark Angel)

The rest... meh!

If I had to really choose:
Vocals - Chuck Billy (Testament) or Ron Reinhert (Dark Angel)
Lead Guitar - Hmm, James Murphy? Glen Alvelais? Scotty Sergeant? Who cares?
Rhythm Guitar - Dave Carlo (Razor)
Bass - Gonzo (ex-Dark Angel)

OK, I'll get this one out of the way...

Vocals - John Bush
Lead guitar - Rob Caggiano
Rhythm guitar - Scott Ian
Drums - Charlie Benante
Bass - Frank Bello

Back into hiding...:Spin:
Coop

VOCALS: Lemmy, King Diamond
GUITAR: Angus Young, Jimmy Page - and I gotta throw in a local legend, Dave Uhrich
BASS: Cliff Burton
DRUMS: Neil Peart

Damn, this was harder than I thought... can't we have a rotating lineup, kind of like the drum position in Spinal Tap?

Bush on vocals definitely. The best ever. I love Jerry Cantrell, great player and like you said great vocalist. The rest I can't really say, to me Living Colour has some of the best musicians around but they have to be a unit to make it work, their sound is just so unique and phenomenal. WCFYA lineup? Can't find a flaw in it, love it so much. I support the reunion though, I've backed the boys since '88 and I always will, can't wait 'till the tour hits the states, I'll be there!

Drums - Dave Lombardo
Bass - Claypool
Guitars - Buckethead
Guitars - Dimebag Darrell
Keyboards - Janne Warmen
Samples - Aphex Twin
Vocals - Mike Patton
Vocals - Ronnie James Dio

i understand there is no chance in hell this band would ever work.

Vocals - Mike Patton
Bass - Les Claypool & Bootsy Collins. It's my band, I can have them both.
Lead Guitar - Buckethead
Rhythm Guitar - Scott Ian
Keyboard - Bernie Worrell
Drums - Animal from the Electric Mayhem

Drums=CHarlie B(very tough for me being a drummer myself but charlies the man)
Rythm=Scotty Ian(in my opinion a very talented Rythm guitarist)
Lead=Dimebag(no comment everyone should choose this MF talented guy)
Keyboards=Eddie Van Halen(hahahahaha hes not bad on the keys)
Bass=Dan Lilker(i just love the way he plays man)
Vocals=Phil Anselmo(CFH Phil anselmo that is;i think he'd fit the stile of these bunch of guys)

cheers-Austin

nick_oliveri_qotsa.jpg

Neil Fallon-Vocals

Nick Oliveri -Not the best bass player by any means but has attitude to boot and is one of the few "rock stars" left

and Johnny Vomit as head roadie:tickled: :D

Pepper Keenan - Rythym/Vocals
Jason Newsted - Bass/Vocals (as much for vocal ability)
Igor Cavalera - Drums
Dime - Lead

This was quite difficult, there was only really one position that was filled straight up, i think it's pretty obvious.
