i find it incredibly amazing that hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants were allowed to clog the central areas of major cities. last time i checked you had to have a permit to protest something and last time i checked you had to be a fucking citizen and pay fucking taxes.
ive never heard so many stupid quotations as i have from this debacle. one of my favorites is, "im not a criminal, im here to make a living." uhhh.....so i guess *i* dont have to pay taxes anymore either?
another *great* argument is that illegal immigrants are somehow good for the economy because they take jobs no one else wants. dumbest logic ive ever heard. the reality is they *steal* jobs from americans because 1) they will work for literally peanuts and 2) employers dont give a shit about the economy and would happily pay a beaner peanuts rather than file tax documents and/or hire someone who demands a higher wage.

perhaps they do, but i doubt you'd do any different in their situation, to expect otherwise would be unrealistic. we have to correct the economic situations in the countries they come from in order for it to ultimately stop, but allowing that to happen would come at the expense of american profits so this shit will definitely not end soon.

what we can and should do in the meantime is actually force companies to obey the law! the reason why people hire illegal immigrants is because they know they can get away with it--if those laws on the books were more strictly enforced some of those companies might think twice

Isn't this what NAFTA was suppose to accomplish? More and more US jobs are gong to Mexico, yet they are still coming here by the thousands. NAFTA is such a damn failure.

I still say the ultimate plan is to take the US down to third world status, or make it so we'll have to combine with Mexico and Canada to make a territory called NAFTA - or some such ridiculous name. Of course this all depends on what type of conspiracy you might believe.

To be entirely honest, I really don't have a problem with immigrants. The ones I see, and hi I live in SoCal and work for a construction company , work their fingers to the bone to earn a decent living. Also even the ones without W-2 forms, and are paid slave wages in comparison to the BULLSHT minimum wage in this country, you do realize they still pay sales tax right? It's not a free ride.

if you guys expect the govt to do anything, don't hold your breath. american businesses make too much profit off of illegals. I have a friend who has a buddy who runs a house rehab business. He has a hard time competing with businesses which pay mexicans ultra cheap wages to do drywall and stuff like that. Housing costs would rise even faster if you threw out the smexicans.

not to mention, I think the Republican proposal is to grant amnesty to any illegals who have been working here for five years or more.
