Hey guys,

My name is Jake. I'm the lead singer for an original melodic metal band out of central Illinois called Atavus. We are very reminiscent of Primal Fear, Painkiller era Judas Priest and Iron Maiden with some modern metal heaviness and breakdowns. You can check us out at http://www.reverbnation.com/atavus. Reverbnation is great because its pretty much completely free and you can sync it with your myspace, facebook, and twitter accounts. Myspace is pretty much dead, but its still a great feature. We have our EPK through reverbnation for the time being. It was more reasonably than sonic bids and comparing the two I really wasn't that impressed with Sonic bids to spend more.

What is the scene like over in Melbourne?
