My name is Jake. I'm the lead singer for an original melodic metal band out of central Illinois called Atavus. We are very reminiscent of Primal Fear, Painkiller era Judas Priest and Iron Maiden with some modern metal heaviness and breakdowns. You can check us out at http://www.reverbnation.com/atavus. There isn't much of a scene for this music in Peoria, so we are looking to network with other bands and metal heads from neighboring states and across the US.
