Keifer was kind enough to lend his impulses so I will be using those and Moonlapse posted a nice free plugin called SIR . Thanx both of you.

From preliminary recordings it seems that I have to turn off the dry signal? Or else I still get that Nasty DI Buzz/Fuzz Distortion.

Is there anything else I need to know.

I'll make some clips and post the results here.

PS: Can anyone snap me up a quick backing track (Drums and Bass) to Zombie Inc by In Flames. I have the MIDI If you need it.

how do you do the cab impulse stuff?

what about an amp that doesnt have a direct out, or an amp that does have a direct out but its already emulated to sound like its through a cab

Get a hotplate and use the power out. Or you could use the send fx.

since most heads output 8 ohm or 16, and all i can find is 2 ohm hotplates, does anyone have a tip on where to buy these suckers that do the 8 ohm?
