I just got word that I got in to an exclusive acoustic Evergrey show on Sunday with the Iced Earth show to follow. I missed Evergrey twice last year and now I get to see them twice in one day!

what are evergrey like?they are the band on after us at the bloodstock festival and i've heard a lot about them,but not what they sound like.

http://www.evergrey.net/ THis is their homepage and there are clips on there. My favorite song of theirs is "She Speaks to the dead" from Solitude + Dominance + Tragedy." Their sound is hard to explain as they are reasonably unique. They are a Swedish Powermetal band with a little bit of prog influence. They are actually fairly big here in the states for a European powermetal band. Solid band with a quality discography.

Ditto, a band you probably couldn't describe in less than a couple of sentences. Never seen the band, I actually just heard them last spring, when I picked up their last disc.

I don't know if anyone saw HBB last night they had Evergrey on there, while it's great to have that show on TV, it's insulting to the bands & to the fans, that they "only" get like a total of 10 min for the interview. The interview is butchered into like 5 segments. I saw the same happen with Iced Earth when they were on there a few weeks back.

That and the fact that Jamie doesn't know the bands so he asks gay questions. I want HBB to forfeit one video and spend some time with these bands. I learned nothing new about the band last night. All Jamie does is say, "New Evergrey album out on April 27th. *makes horns with hand* Pick it up."

Oh yeah, they are selling the new album early despite rumors that they would not be sold during the early stages of the tour. Evergrey are also doing signing sessions and shit before and after their set which I think is very cool. I got mine today at the acoustic show and got it signed. The new album is BAD ASS. *makes horns with hand* Pick it up.
